Where to realize a sustainable society using only solar and wind energy? Perhaps where the sun shines and the wind blows nearly every day of the year? Where better than a location almost without electricity, where there are few cars and where every drop of fuel must be imported from overseas? Where better than an isolated area, hardly influenced by its surroundings, inhabited by entrepreneurial people who experience the violent impacts of climate change? Climate change was not caused by them, but they must face its challenge. Is there a better place to work on this issue than the small island of Savu?
