Cabrejou Foundation supports various projects in Indonesia. Work is currently underway on several islands in the Nusa Tenggara Timor region. One of them is Sumba, an island characterized by its wilderness. Sumba has suffered frequent periods of drought, and basic health care and amenities are seriously lacking in many areas. Cabrejou Foundation is active in the areas of healthcare, education and agriculture. You can read more about these projects on the Sumba page. On the remote island of Savu, Cabrejou Foundation is currently in discussion with the government, and several other organizations regarding a large scale development.
